Dimraeth Archetypes

Direct answerAn Archetype is one race × class pairing. With 8 races and 6 classes that's 48 Archetypes, and each one has its own skill tree and playstyle.
What is an Archetype?
Dimraeth doesn't just let you pick a class — your race and class combine into an Archetype. The official Steam description confirms 48 distinct Archetypes (8 races × 6 classes), each pairing with its own skill tree and playstyle.
Why the pairing matters
- Your class defines the combat role and its branch of the skill tree.
- Your race adds traits and racial spells that shape that role.
- Every race × class combination plays differently, so 48 Archetypes = 48 starting points for a build.
- Your archetype also determines which spells are naturally available before you add crafted spellbooks.
Early Access roster vs. the 1.0 plan
The 48 number is the confirmed current design. The developer roadmap plans additional races and classes during Early Access, so the eventual total could grow toward full release. We'll update this page when the roster changes.
Should you expect 48 individual guides?
Not yet. We deliberately don't publish 48 thin Archetype pages: each page must earn independent search demand and have verified, unique content (per our editorial policy). We cover the Archetype system here and will add individual pages only when there's real player demand after launch.

Frequently Asked Questions
48 — 8 races × 6 classes, each with its own skill tree and playstyle.
No. The class is the combat role; the Archetype is the race × class combination that adds race traits and spells on top.
The roadmap plans more races and classes during Early Access, which would add more Archetypes.
