Dimraeth Co-op

Direct answerDimraeth is playable solo or with up to 8 players in seamless drop-in/drop-out online co-op. Your hero's level, gear and personal progression travel with you between worlds; story and building progress stays with each world.
How many players?
The official materials confirm 1–8 players. Solo play is fully supported from start to finish, and co-op supports groups up to eight.
How co-op works
- Seamless drop-in/drop-out — friends can join and leave a session without restarting.
- Peer-to-peer — one player acts as the host (no dedicated or private servers at present).
- Online only — there is no local or split-screen multiplayer.
- Steam Deck supported (official FAQ).
What travels with you (co-op persistence)
Dimraeth separates two kinds of progression, which is the key to its co-op model:
| Travelling with your hero | Staying with the world |
| Hero level | Story progress |
| Equipment | Recruited allies |
| Inventory | Buildings / stronghold |
| Spells | World state |
| Personal progression | — |
In practice: bring your levelled hero and gear into a friend's world, but their story, allies and buildings stay put.
Finding players
The developers run a #looking-for-group channel on their official Discord for finding co-op partners, quick sessions or full parties for boss fights.
