Dimraeth Build Planner & Builds

Direct answerA build in Dimraeth starts from your Archetype (race × class = one of 48 unique skill trees) and your 5-spell loadout. We publish build systems and tested concepts — never invented tier lists.
What makes up a Dimraeth build?
- Archetype — race × class, each with its own skill tree and playstyle.
- Attributes — required to unlock crafted spellbook spells.
- Spell loadout — 5 spells equipped at a time; race/class spells plus crafted spellbooks.
- Equipment — gear with rarity tiers and upgrades (crafting and drops).
- Stamina & combat — the same Souls-lite commitment every build plays under.
Where builds start: the Archetype
Every build begins with a race × class pairing. Since all 48 Archetypes have unique skill trees, your first build decision is really your Archetype decision. Use the Archetype and Character Creation guides to narrow it down. This page is the current Dimraeth build planner reference: compare the parts of a build here, then choose a race, class and five-spell loadout; it is not a fake calculator with unverified damage numbers.
Our build policy (no invented rankings)
We do not publish “best class” or tier lists before Early Access — there's no stable, verified balance data yet, and rankings made up now would mislead. When we add build pages after launch, each will state its test conditions, patch/build version, and what's verified vs. community opinion.
The five-spell loadout as a build lever
With only five spell slots, choosing your loadout is a genuine build decision. Your Archetype gives you free race/class spells; spellbooks add universal magic you've earned through crafting and attribute investment. The Spells guide breaks this down.
Dimraeth build planner: a five-step setup
- Choose an Archetype first: your race × class pairing determines the skill tree and starting identity.
- Set one combat purpose before picking details — close-range pressure, elemental flexibility or another role you can test in the current build.
- Check attribute gates for the spellbooks and crafted spells you actually want to equip.
- Fill the five spell slots around that purpose instead of mixing unrelated effects just because they are available.
- Finish with equipment and upgrades that support the plan; record the patch and test conditions before calling it a best build.
Starter build plans: choose a direction first
These are starting frameworks, not a live tier list. For close-range pressure, begin with the Brawler identity and choose a race whose traits support the way you want to fight. For elemental flexibility, begin with Magician, then check the attribute requirements for the spells you want. Shadow is an announced Early Access class, but its full role and balance are still unverified.
- Choose the combat identity first: Brawler for close-range pressure, Magician for elemental flexibility, or Shadow only if you accept that its full role is still being verified.
- Pick the race × class Archetype and inspect its unique skill tree before spending attributes.
- Fill five spell slots around one purpose, then verify spellbook requirements and equipment sources instead of copying an untested ranking.
