What characters are in Dimraeth?
The story follows a rising darkness across Mirkea, with Faustas (the venerable wizard who recruits you) and the villain Sylbos (Last of the Ogre Magi) confirmed by name in the official story. In the current Early Access build the community database tracks 17 meetable people, including Sanctum residents like Befr the Travelling Merchant, Manga the Minotaur blacksmith, Basilton the Wildwood Golem and Myrll the Gentlest Spirit.
Relationship titles and romance
Every talkable person keeps four hidden meters about you (Opinion, Friendship, Romance, Value Alignment), and bonds climb through 16 relationship titles — Stranger to Soul Mate. Romance questions are answered on their own pages under the Romance guide.
What allies do

Relationships are a real system: deeper bonds unlock new conversations and personal quests, and can lead to romance. This connects to the Stronghold and Romance guides.

Mudtek has not published the official full ally roster, romance-able list or complete individual backgrounds. Community-database facts (people, facilities, meters) are labelled Community Reported; anything unnamed stays Unverified.
